Hello Kitty Coloring Pages easy for Kids

The fictional character Hello Kitty was created by Yuko Shimizu and is currently designed by Yuko Yamaguchi. She is depicted as a Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow on her head. Her full name is Kitty White and she is depicted as an anthropomorphization or gijinka. According to her backstory, she lives outside of London and has never grown past the third grade. She was born on November 1 alongside her twin sister Mimmy, who wears a yellow bow. Sanrio, the Japanese company that owns Hello Kitty, depicts her as having no mouth and being a bobtail cat.

Since its creation in 1974, the Hello Kitty media franchise has grown to include books, music albums, games, toys, accessories, clothing and manga. The character's first merchandise was a vinyl coin purse introduced by Sanrio in March 1975. Sanrio brought Hello Kitty to the United States in 1976. Since then, the franchise has continued to grow with additional merchandise and media productions.
